bboy eat bboy sleep (repeat x10)
Yeah so I’ve been on winter vacation here and I’m my first 2 weeks in, so I’ve got a lot of time. So lately I found this other dance studio and have been hanging out with this 16 year old bboy who’s overly energetic. I’m pretty sure he has ADD or something but he’s mad cool. At first when I talked to him I thought he said 26, that was pretty funny. Anyways we’ve been chillin pretty hard, dance, eat, dance, go home, study a bit and sleep. More or less now I only speak chinese throughout the entire day, which in other words means, my english is getting reallllll bad. Sometimes when I go to hang out with forgien students everybody (even though there are english speakers) ends up just speaking pure chinese. SO MAGICAL
ANYWAYS HERES SOME PICTURES GUYS
It’s called IDK dance studio, stands for I AM DANCE KING…. hahaha I like surprise more =)
Theres the 16 year old kid, he’s mad cool and dresses fresh, which is why I thought he said 26
It’s funny also this dance studio is not as big or popular as Surprise so they actually have some other company just working in one of the rooms.
The dude in the picture is a full time bboy, he teaches at this studio so me and him are sessioning pretty hard together
sometimes you gotta be ghetto na mean, instant noodles are super fangbian. haha fangbian shi fangbian =)
random…. chinese.. snack. I can barely describe it, do you guys realize how hard it is for me to constantly be describing food?
well.. uhh its sweet and kind’ve like a sponge?
Alright guys so this is some next level food. These instant noodles; you cook the noodles with hot water, pour the hot water out and add all these chemicals. The hotdog thing is more or less a hotdog, everybody in china eats them. And yes, that looks digustingly unhealthy, it is a shrink wrapped chicken leg. Preservatives are great!
Yeah so I’m actually travelling to Dongbei (Harbin) pretty soon, around the 20th. I’m gonna be staying there for a week or two, maybe three if I’m loving it. Right now I’m just riding it out and chilling, getting dope, studying ,etc. Everybody at Renmin right now is actually out travelling or at home, so I think I’m one of the few who stayed. I must say its quite lonely. Oh yeah also a personal message to stickz. I”M GONNA SMOKE YOU SON
Oh yeah also I went to the Beijing olympic place. One of my friends brothers is in town and its his first time in Beijing so their doing a lot of site seeing, so I joined them. However I forgot my camera that day so it’s all on my buddys camera. It’s pretty awesome I must say.

NOAH I MISS YOU SO MUCH !
tell us about your new roommate,
good to hear that you made the language switch
Aunt Tracy & Ryan Yee will be visiting Beijing April 1-5. She is trying to get a hold of you to meet up. Send Adrian or Ryan Yee your cell phone number or IM address for confirmation.
My cousin Amy (we met her and my aunt in Vancouver) in California has a friend in Beijing now who would like to meet you too. Will send you her email.
Noah, it sounds like you’re gettting the full Mandarin immersion, if you’re not speaking English very often.
In Harbin, I would think you’ll find even fewer English speakers.
It looks like you are having an awesome Mandarin immersion experience. Don’t worry, your English will slowly return once you’re safely back home. Keep meeting and hanging out with native Chinese and stay away from foreigners. It looks like you are having a great time.
Going to Harbin will be cold, so dress warmly. They have interesting Russian architecture there. When traveling keep healthy.
cool adventure bro
When you are in haerbin check out the snow festival, not just the ice festival. They have Canadian snow sculptors there too
lookin at ure life rite now i kinda wanna reach and learn chinese too… hope all is well brother!!!
